Julz Bolinayen (they/them) is a ritualist of Ilokano ancestry. Julz practices tattoo as ritual healing work, providing a sacred space of Ceremony for people (especially queer and trans people of color) to express and transform their pain. Many people who seek out Ceremony with Julz want to celebrate and mark important transitions in their lives, to honor their ancestors, to affirm their identities and lived experiences, to release and let go of grief, pain and trauma, to fortify the strength of their spirit through tattoo as protection, to celebrate their existence and resilience, and most especially, to receive tattoo in a supportive environment that uplifts the feminine and centers femme, trans, two-spirited and genderfluid energy and experience. Julz is a sensitive soul, a gender non-conforming, ocean-spirited queer brown femme haranista with a hearing disability. You can catch Julz always laughing, snacking, napping by the sea, chasing the sun, taking selfies with plants and singing self-written serenades. Phelicia Magnusson an herbalist and flower essence practitioner whose formal training took place at Arbor Vitae School of Traditional Western Herbalism in New York City and with Delta Gardens in Hampton Falls, Massachusetts. Her own journey to working with herbs came much by accident when she encountered dandelion leaf in a woman’s yoga study after college. Since then she’s reflected on the ways her great grandmother grew herbs as potted plants in her Brooklyn apartment, and the way her childhood was spent observing the forest in Northern Idaho. Phelicia is particularly interested in the intersection of ritual and healing; she has spent a good deal of time learning in ceremony with plants and elders in the Peruvian Amazon and the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. As a healer, Phelicia has a great deal of gratitude and awe for the plants themselves, the infinite wisdom they hold, and the elders and traditions that hold plant wisdom sacred. In her work, Phelicia’s mission is to be a medium between plants and people and to support individuals in reconnecting with the wisdom of their bodies and the missions of their hearts. Phelicia is deeply humbled by the courage people draw from in sharing their stories and becoming present in their own healing.

Amani Michael is a queer Black vegan liberationist, writer, and healer - they are the founder of intuit.hue, an online community centered on healing through art and spirituality, especially centering minoritised identities and experiences.
As they have come into their practice in recent years – intuitively exploring tarot reading, chakra healing, relational astrology, and dream interpretation – they have come to see it as offering spaces of quiet, reflection, and reclaiming in a world full of noise and trauma.
Along with this intuitive work, they are also deeply passionate about language and relationships; in their writing on narrative/discourse, they are constantly deconstructing the question of identity and imagination, how we use language to tell stories about what we are and aren’t, and – like any other Piscean spirit – what we dream of.
Syd Emmanuel Arrojo~La Espiritista~ (Artist/Performer/Poet/Writer) is a Latinx American Seattle based artist originally from New Jersey. They offer reiki and tarot readings, spiritual counseling and life coaching sessions.
La Espiritista uses their energy to create messages that focus on life lessons such as the art of healing, faith, love, and transformation by sharing a unique blend of their own personal story of containing multiple marginalized identities along with the universal truths of nature. Much of their art is a manifestation of their exploration of queer spirituality and sexuality. It is the purest connection to the healing rhythms embedded in all forms of life universally. They believe that one of the most revolutionary acts in this world is to “simply be, to allow oneself to be fully presente and to slow down into the moment.
La Espiritista is currently working on their first book of poetry, Butterfly: Una Transformacion, Una Ascension, expected to be released March 12th, 2018. It focuses on the beautiful, yet messy, process of integrating one’s dark into their truest light to achieve balance. They use the four phases of metamorphosis to portray this: Release. Renewal. Retreat. Rebirth.
